Elite Soccer training company is a fun and safe after school kids' soccer program serving schools in Northeast Columbia in Richland County, and Irmo and Lexington in Lexington County. Our youth soccer program starts with children as young as age 2 and continues up through 6th grade.
Our youth soccer classes are age- and skill-specific and based on a full year grassroots soccer curriculum: 2-year-olds, 3-year-olds, 4-year-olds, 1st graders/2nd graders, 3rd/4th graders, 5th/6th graders.
Our youth soccer program was created by a former professional soccer player and coach. Using an age-appropriate curriculum, Elite Soccer Training provides students with a fun and structured environment where they develop soccer fundamentals as well as learn life-long skills such as teamwork and dedication. Students of all ages and levels learn the basics of the fastest growing US sport while gaining confidence in their ability.

To impact the lives of children by introducing them to the beautiful sport of soccer. To build their confidence and to impart the value of team work and dedication.
Using fun and creative games, our weekly sessions focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also incorporate a character lesson in each session such as sharing, respect, teamwork and appreciation. Elite Soccer Training will introduce your student to the wonderful sport of soccer and provide the foundation needed to get started in the sport.
This program is for children who are new to soccer or who want to build upon what they have learned in the Preschool session. Using team games and competitions, we focus on individual foot skills, fitness and sportsmanship. Students will also be taught tactical elements of the game that are needed to play on competitive teams.
We are currently approved by both Richland 2 and Lexington 5 School Districts and are at the following schools:

David Kenga is grateful for what the game of soccer has done for him.
“It has given me an opportunity to get a very good education, meet and connect with various players and families and make a difference in my community,” said Kenga, who hails from Mombasa, Kenya.
He played college soccer at Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina, graduating in 2008 with a bachelor of science degree in biology with a double minor in chemistry and psychology.

Kenga created a foundation, called Fuhaha Youth Soccer Academy, after graduating from Winthrop. “I went to Kenya to visit my family after my last year of collegiate soccer at Winthrop University,” he remembered. “I was saddened to see some of my childhood friends addicted to drugs and other socially unacceptable activities. These were players that were the top of the cream, and if they had an outlet to provide hope for the future, they would have taken a different positive route.”
The foundation is based in Kilifi, Kenya. Its goal is to provide the sport of soccer as an outlet for youths to avoid having them involved in drugs, alcohol and other deviant behavior.
The foundation collects gently used soccer equipment that can be shipped either to Kenga’s address in the United States or to the foundation’s address in Kenya. Items are then spread to different teams in the Kilifi area and in the Upcountry of Kenya.
Both Winthrop men’s and women’s soccer programs have donated equipment. Kenga also has partnered with South Carolina United FC and the SCYSA ODP program for donations. The John Corey Stringfellow Foundation has sponsored the shipping of all the donated items every year.
Still connected to soccer as a USSF A-Youth Coach, Kenga is also a science teacher.
As for the future of his foundation, Kenga hope that it will continue to provide the necessary equipment and expertise for youths in his village and city to experience soccer, and that they also can benefit from one of the world’s great sports.
David Kenga also works closely with the community supporting a program that provides feminine care products in Eldama Ravine, Baringo County.
